It's all in the light
Solexx owners Mike and Bev Perry have been in the agricultural industry for more than 30 years. Bev is a biologist and ex-science teacher. Mike, a plant scientist, managed a hops business in Oregon's fertile Willamette Valley.
As part of that business, he sold corrugated plastic harvesting totes to farmers. One day, Mike left a box upside down on the lawn. When he moved the box just a few days later, he was amazed to find the grass tall enough to completely fill the inside of the 8x10-inch box.
That was the beginning of his mission to find the perfect ultraviolet formulation for the material that would give it at least eight, if not more, years of durability. The result was a line of the finest-quality greenhouses in a mid-range price available on the market today, and the Solexx greenhouse family was born. They have now been succesfully manufacturing and selling greenhouse kits for nearly 20 years.
With the long-term durability of the structures and retail prices staring at just $642 the value of Solexx is unequaled in the gardening world.
